About This Publication
Help learners to recognise the money matters concerning families, and to think about how to deal with children's money issues. This resource evaluates and provides hints and tips from the Pots of Gold project managed by Newcastle City Council's Family Learning Service, which aimed to:
analyse gaps in provision and resources
investigate the literacy, numeracy and financial capability needs of the learners
develop innovative ways for learners to improve their literacy and numeracy through financial literacy
pilot these ways of learning
develop materials and guidance, resulting in replicable 'models' of delivery.
